BA'S BOOK

Tuesday, November 24th

5:00 P.M. PT / 8:00 P.M. ET

A father writes a memoir as letters to his daughter about his harrowing experiences of the Vietnam War and Iranian Revolution. She responds by making a film. Traveling back to her ancestral village in Vietnam, she recruits her relatives as cast and crew to create narrative live-action re-creations, combined with intimate verité. Ba's Book offers a disarming look at the intergenerational legacy of war.
